The X Acerinox Award is now in progress

We already have the finalists of this new edition of the Acerinox Award.

The prestigious jury, composed of:

Dr. Jon M. Molina-Aldareguía (Director of IMDEA and Full Professor at UPM), serving as President,  Bernardo Velázquez Herreros (CEO of Acerinox), Alaitz Zabala (PhD in Materials Engineering and Researcher at Mondragon University),  Juan Pérez Romero (Head of the Projects and Works Department at the Port Authority of Castellón. Civil Engineer), Francisco Fernández de la Mata (Director of Acerinox Europa).

Will select the winner of the X Acerinox Award from the following six finalist projects:

  • Alejandro Canteli González. Polytechnic School of Engineering of Gijón, Universidad de Oviedo. “Fabricación Aditiva de Discos de Freno Para Motocicletas: Evaluación de Diseño, Simulación y Viabilidad”.

  • Clara León Manteca. Faculty of Engineering, Universidad de Deusto. “Optimización Topológica, Caracterización de Materiales y Fabricación Mediante Tecnologías Aditivas”.

  • Fernando Delgado Beltrán. School of Civil Engineering, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. “Propuesta del Coeficiente de Sensibilidad a la Deriva para Pórticos de Acero Inoxidable Bajo Acciones Sísmicas”.

  • Carlos Álvaro Pérez. School of Civil Engineering, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. “Efectos de la Oscilación Láser en el Texturizado Superficial del Acero Inoxidable AISI 301LN”.

  • Edgar Valldeperez Tomás. Department of Materials Science and Physical Chemistry, Universitat de Barcelona. “Caracterización de aceros inoxidables súper dúplex sometidos a deformación plástica severa”.
